sportsxml is a new, open, and drop-dead-simple mark-up format for the world of sports.

Note: It's also a subscription based, game-time, statistics service.

1. There's only one tag to learn. Unlike other efforts, sportsxml is designed to stay out of the way of the data as much as possible.

2. It's basically a combination of the simplicity of old-school comma separated value formats and the power of XML.
